Filtronic plc reported a strong start to its financial year in a trading update following its Annual General Meeting, citing significant revenue visibility. It secured its first contract for a geostationary satellite constellation and received additional prototype orders from U.S. satellite customers.
The company also announced a group of new UK contracts to supply components for airborne radar systems.
The update follows Filtronic’s largest-ever order from SpaceX for the Starlink constellation, which supports its growth expectations.
