FedEx pilots ratified a new collective bargaining agreement to end five years of negotiations. The Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) represents more than 5,000 pilots at the carrier. Approximately 83% of voting members approved the deal.
The contract includes an approximate 40% increase in hourly pay this year. Pilots will also receive retroactive pay alongside updated work rules and benefits.
The agreement officially takes effect on June 29. This settlement follows a rejected 2023 proposal and discussions that began in May 2021.
