Frontier Power USA (FPUSA) signed a strategic framework with Stella Energy Solutions to develop over 2 GWh of battery energy storage. The agreement enables FPUSA to acquire Stella’s late-stage project pipeline, which is primarily located in Texas.
The collaboration utilizes FPUSA’s existing 2 GWh capacity reservation agreement with Eos Energy Enterprises. This arrangement directs Stella’s projects to use Eos’s Z3 zinc-based, long-duration battery systems.
Stella will also serve as the designated execution partner for FPUSA’s broader development pipeline. The companies are currently working to finalize the terms in definitive agreements.
