An Italian daily reports that SEARAH, a planned joint venture between Italy's Eni and Malaysia's Petronas, projects a net income of $2.7 billion by 2030.

The entity projects revenue of $6.7 billion by 2030.

The venture combines upstream gas assets in Indonesia and Malaysia to target the growing Asia-Pacific liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector.

SEARAH will manage 19 assets.

This portfolio features 14 assets in Indonesia and five in Malaysia.

The total asset valuation is approximately $27.3 billion.

A banking consortium is structuring an initial $6 billion credit facility.

This funding will support investments between 2026 and 2030.

The venture expects to begin operations by the end of June 2026.
