Echo IQ Limited launched a research collaboration with the Mayo Clinic to evaluate its AI-powered platform. The study aims to predict heart failure risk for patients undergoing cancer therapy.

The partnership marks the Australian med-tech company’s expansion into cardio-oncology. This medical field focuses on cardiovascular complications resulting from cancer treatments.

Mayo Clinic in Arizona will use de-identified echocardiogram data to assess the AI’s predictive risk scores. This technology could enable earlier identification of treatment-induced heart damage.

The study is expected to conclude in the first half of 2027. Findings will be submitted for peer-reviewed publication.
