EHang’s local partner, HungViet Technology, signed a memorandum of understanding with Hanoi’s Department of Science and Technology to create a regulatory sandbox for testing EHang’s pilotless aircraft. [6, 9, 13]
The program will focus on testing the EH216-S passenger-carrying eVTOL aircraft at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, subject to approvals. [6, 9] The partners aim to explore commercial uses in urban commuting and tourism. [10]
