Ecopetrol reported a net profit of 6.06 trillion Colombian pesos for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. This result marks a more than threefold increase from the 1.81 trillion pesos earned during the same period last year.
Quarterly revenues climbed 35% year-over-year. Total sales reached 40.2 trillion pesos, beating analyst expectations.
Average oil prices rose 43% during the quarter. This price surge compensated for a 6.6% decrease in total oil and gas production.
