Cisco Systems is negotiating the acquisition of Israeli cybersecurity startup Astrix Security for $250 million to $350 million. The deal aims to bolster Cisco’s capabilities in securing artificial intelligence agents and non-human identities.
Tel Aviv-based Astrix specializes in protecting API keys and service accounts to prevent supply chain attacks. The startup has raised $85 million in total funding.
This capital was raised across three funding rounds. Astrix was founded in 2021. Investors include Bessemer Venture Partners, CRV, and Menlo Ventures.
