Salesforce unveiled its Headless 360 initiative at the TDX developer conference, marking a major strategic shift toward an AI-centric future. This transformation re-architects the entire platform to be API-first. AI agents can now programmatically access and operate every function without a traditional user interface. The initiative includes over 100 new tools for developers to integrate AI models and build agentic systems.

The company’s existing AI-related products are showing rapid financial growth. The Agentforce and Data 360 platforms reached $2.9 billion in annual recurring revenue. This performance represents a year-over-year increase of more than 200%.

Salesforce also introduced Agent Fabric to facilitate the management of multiple AI vendors. Analysts suggest this strategy is crucial for solidifying the company's position against disruption from generative AI technologies. This move prepares Salesforce for an evolving enterprise landscape where AI agents play a primary role.
