Users who click the "Trade" option on a supported Cashtag can select Coinbase to complete transactions on its app or website.
X will not process or execute trades. It acts as a gateway to licensed brokerage and exchange partners.
Coinbase joins Kraken and Gemini, along with traditional brokers Interactive Brokers and Moomoo, in the initial launch.
The partnership provides Coinbase a significant new channel to attract users.
