German defense technology company Quantum Systems raised $1.2 billion in a Series D funding round. The financing increases the drone maker's post-money valuation to approximately $8 billion. This figure more than doubles the company's previous valuation of over €3 billion from November 2025.

Blackstone, Noteus, Airbus, and Advent co-led the round. Institutional investors including Fidelity and Wellington Management also participated.

Quantum Systems currently provides surveillance drones to Ukraine. The company will use the new capital to expand international operations and increase manufacturing capacity. The funding will also support potential acquisitions.
