The new offering features a "Public-Security Dazzler." This non-lethal optical device is designed for situations where verbal commands fail and kinetic force is inappropriate. It will be available in handheld, weapon-mounted, and vehicle-mounted configurations. Nuburu leverages its "One Optical Systems Hub" for this expansion. This hub also supports military counter-drone systems, creating shared engineering and manufacturing efficiencies.
Nuburu pursues a pipeline of opportunities. It holds preliminary discussions with U.S. and European defense manufacturers for potential product integration and distribution partnerships. The company notes a significant market size, including over 19,000 law-enforcement agencies in the U.S. alone.
