Bentley Systems will sell its Cohesive digital integrator business to Naviam Global Limited, an IBM Maximo partner. The transaction was announced on September 7, 2026. This deal will establish the combined Naviam and Cohesive entity as the world's largest independent services and solutions provider for IBM Maximo enterprise asset management software.

Financial terms of the sale were not disclosed. Bentley will make a strategic equity investment in Naviam. Upon closing, Bentley will become a minority shareholder and gain a seat on Naviam's board of directors. Norwest provides a significant growth investment for the venture. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by September 30, 2026, pending regulatory approvals.

The move creates a strategic partnership. This partnership aims to integrate Bentley's Infrastructure Cloud platform with Naviam's cloud capabilities and IBM's Maximo. The integration will better serve infrastructure asset owners.
