BlackRock Canada launched the iShares Equity + Bitcoin ETF Portfolio (IBQT) on the Toronto Stock Exchange. This fund provides exposure to global stock markets and Bitcoin through a single investment vehicle.
The ETF uses a fund-of-funds structure with a 97% allocation to global equities. It allocates the remaining 3% to Bitcoin.
The equity component comprises iShares ETFs covering Canadian, U.S., international, and emerging markets. BlackRock accesses Bitcoin through its Canadian iShares Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) rather than direct holdings.
