Baidu launched DuClaw, a web-based service providing immediate access to its OpenClaw agent platform. Operating on Baidu AI Cloud, the service removes technical barriers by eliminating the need for user deployment or configuration. The platform includes pre-built tools such as Baidu Search and Baidu Scholar. Baidu is offering an introductory subscription rate to attract early users.
In a separate strategic move, Baidu partnered with Uber to launch autonomous ride-hailing services in Dubai next month. This collaboration integrates Baidu’s Apollo Go autonomous vehicles into the Uber platform. The project represents a significant step in the global expansion of Baidu’s autonomous driving technology. Service will initially be available in select areas of the city.
