Brookfield to Fund Up to $9B in AI Infrastructure Partnership with NAVER and NVIDIA

Brookfield Asset Management announced a partnership with NAVER and NVIDIA to expand Korea's national AI factory infrastructure. The collaboration involves significant planned investments to scale NAVER's data center capabilities, aiming to create a sovereign AI ecosystem to support innovators in Korea and the U.S.

• Funding Commitment: Brookfield plans to fund up to $9 billion for the AI infrastructure project. This is complemented by a planned $1 billion investment from NVIDIA into NAVER Corp.
• Project Scope: The partnership will expand NAVER’s GAK Sejong hyperscale data center from its initial 55 megawatts to 200 megawatts by 2028, with a long-term goal of reaching 1 gigawatt.
• Strategic Goal: The expanded facility will be built with the NVIDIA DSX platform, providing production-scale AI computing power for building next-generation AI models, agents, and services for enterprises, government, and AI companies.
