Alibaba officially launched its Wan3.0 AI video generation model. This release follows a public beta version unveiled on August 6.
The model generates videos up to 30 seconds in length. It creates content from various inputs including documents, spreadsheets, slides, PDFs, and web pages.
The launch follows Alibaba’s announcement of a $10.3 billion (HK$80 billion) share offering. The company will use these funds to invest in AI infrastructure and capabilities.
Wan3.0 has already supported the creation of short films, marketing materials, and music videos.
