A Morgan Stanley note issued Monday projects a 32-gigawatt power shortfall for U.S. data centers through 2028. The bank does not believe the bottleneck will put Broadcom’s 2027 forecasts at risk.

Morgan Stanley cites Broadcom’s close coordination with data center operators and the power industry. That flexibility, alongside surging demand for its energy-efficient custom AI silicon and networking hardware, could help insulate the company from project delays that may hit other component suppliers harder.
