AeroVironment received an $80.5 million contract from the Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401). The award funds the Titan Multi-Sensor (MS) counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS). This contract supports the Department of War’s Domestic Shield initiative. The program protects critical defense infrastructure and high-priority sites across the United States.

This order is the first execution under a previously announced $500 million sole-source contract. The U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command will deploy the Titan systems to enhance layered air defense. These systems utilize artificial intelligence to detect, track, and defeat small unmanned aircraft threats.
