Aclara Resources Inc. announced its U.S. subsidiary secured federal funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). This selection is part of the DOE’s Genesis Mission initiative. The program uses artificial intelligence to strengthen the domestic critical minerals supply chain.
The project is titled AI-Enabled Process Optimization for Multi-Feed Rare Earth Separation. It uses AI to improve the efficiency, quality, and stability of rare earth element separation. CEO Ramón Barúa stated the selection validates the company’s vision of integrating advanced process engineering with AI.
Successful Phase I projects may be eligible for additional funding in Phase II.
