Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA are expanding their strategic partnership to meet global artificial intelligence infrastructure demand. AWS will deploy 2 million additional NVIDIA GPUs across its global network. This deployment is scheduled for 2027 and 2028. The move responds to AI compute demand exceeding earlier forecasts.
The collaboration integrates Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra GPUs into the AWS stack. AWS will also utilize NVIDIA Vera CPU-based infrastructure for agentic AI workloads. Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker will integrate NVIDIA Nemotron open models.
Both companies will build AI factories for the U.S. government. This project involves deploying 100,000 GPUs on secure AWS infrastructure.
