Astera Labs (ALAB) will join the Nasdaq-100 Index effective prior to the market open on Monday, June 22, 2026. The addition was announced as part of the index's quarterly rebalancing.

Shares of the AI-focused semiconductor company surged approximately 5% in after-hours trading on Thursday. The Nasdaq-100 comprises the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the exchange.

Astera Labs will enter the index alongside Rocket Lab (RKLB), CoreWeave (CRWV), Nebius Group (NBIS), and Teradyne (TER). These five companies will replace outgoing members, including Charter Communications and Zscaler.

Inclusion in the benchmark often triggers increased demand from index funds and ETFs that track the index.
