AbbVie reported positive results from a Phase 2 study of zumilokibart in adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. The data were presented at the 2026 European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress.

The study met its primary endpoint. All three dose regimens significantly improved skin clearance compared with placebo after 16 weeks.

The mid- and high-dose regimens also significantly improved key secondary endpoints, including near-complete skin clearance and itch reduction. Based on the results, AbbVie selected the mid-dose regimen for a larger Phase 3 development program.

Zumilokibart is an investigational antibody targeting IL-13, a key driver of inflammation in atopic dermatitis.
