Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) entered two long-term agreements to secure its electrolyte supply. It signed a deal with Yongtai Technology for 470,000 tonnes of electrolyte. CATL also secured 300,000 tonnes of electrolyte from Sinuo New Materials. Both agreements cover the supply period from 2026 to 2028.
These agreements ensure a stable supply of critical raw materials for CATL's ongoing production and expansion plans. The company mitigates potential supply chain disruptions and cost volatility in the coming years by locking in these substantial quantities.
