Krafton Chairman Byung-gyu Chang met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pledge a $500 million total investment in the country.

The South Korean gaming giant will invest an additional $250 million over the next three to four years.

This new funding follows the $250 million Krafton has already deployed in India since 2021.

The maker of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) aims to strengthen the local gaming ecosystem and support homegrown talent.

Capital will also target emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, robotics, and deep-tech.

The expansion underscores Krafton’s long-term commitment to India’s digital economy.
