MediaTek reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of NT$168.1 billion, surpassing its guidance. Revenue rose 10.4% sequentially and 18.3% year over year.
Net profit increased 10.8% year over year to NT$28.2 billion. Earnings per share reached NT$17.50.
Better-than-expected customer demand and the initial ramp-up of new data-center AI accelerator chips supported the results.
For the fourth quarter, MediaTek forecast revenue of NT$210.1 billion to NT$221.8 billion. That would represent year-over-year growth of 40% to 48%.
The company expects its new AI application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) business to generate US$2.5 billion in fourth-quarter revenue. It raised its 2027 revenue target for the AI ASIC program to approximately US$16 billion and confirmed it has secured a second major customer.
