Samsung Electronics Chairman Jay Y. Lee ordered a group-wide AI Transformation initiative to integrate artificial intelligence across all affiliate operations. This program aims to fundamentally alter the company's organizational DNA and work processes.
All affiliate CEOs will attend an AX Bootcamp this month, marking a company first. Approximately 2,300 executives will complete AI training by August. Samsung will train its entire workforce of 280,000 employees by the end of the year. This initiative serves as the foundation for Samsung to transition into an AI-native company.
