OpenAI CEO Sam Altman will visit South Korea to meet senior Samsung Electronics executives. This trip marks Altman’s first visit to the country in eight months. The meeting follows preliminary agreements established in October 2025.
Altman will discuss securing advanced memory chips for OpenAI’s Stargate AI data center project. He also plans to address Samsung employees regarding AI-driven workplace innovation.
The partnership aims to integrate OpenAI technology into Samsung’s consumer devices and enterprise solutions. Samsung is currently executing a company-wide initiative to embed AI across its core business operations.
